Sneaking past Fifa’s plan B to ‘best competition ever’

After being just three days away from losing the opportunity to host the Fédération Internationale de Football Association Beach Soccer World Cup 2025, to hosting the best ever tournament so far, is a feat that many thought was beyond us, a proud President Wavel Ramkalawan has said.
The head-of-of-state made the statement yesterday, during the final post mortem meeting of the special committee set up prior to the tournament to ensure smooth running and progress.
