Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup 2025: Where do we go from here?

With the first ever Fédération Internationale de Football Association Beach Soccer World Cup to be hosted in Africa behind us, we now look forward into the legacy of the event, and what lessons can be learnt from it.

For the first time, the Seychelles national team competed amongst some of the best names in the competition, including the eventual finalists Belarus who they held for quite a while.

This, combined with one of the youngest scorers in the history of this competition, namely Lienal Bibi who made his presence felt against Japan, the future of Seychelles in the sport is quite bright.
