La Passe to play in the Championship League next season

Inner Island side La Passe will be playing second division football next season, following their play-offs series defeat against Praslin-based Revengers, after fielding in an illegal player, during their first match.
La Passe in a play-off series was a scenario few ever expected, but due to their poor performances, the La Digue side found themselves in a survival battle against Revengers with their Absa Premier League spot on the line.
Revengers had themselves stood above eight other sides for a well-earned shot at the Absa Premier League.
The coveted prize was disputed within two legs played at Stad Amitié and the La Digue complex. La Passe dominated the first leg and outclassed Revengers who looked second-best the entire night.
