Brazil upset Belarus to claim 7th title

•          Portugal edge Senegal to finish third

The Canarinha of Brazil are the champions of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 held at the Roche Caïman Paradise Arena between May 1-11, after defeating Belarus in the final yesterday, while Portugal edged Senegal in the third-place play-off.

Yesterday’s matches were attended by President Wavel Ramkalawan, president of the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) Elvis Chetty, Cabinet ministers, government and Fifa senior officials.

To qualify for the final, Brazil defeated Portugal 4-2 in the clash of the last four, while Belarus eliminated Senegal by a 5-2 score in the other semifinal.
