Special needs athletes take part in ‘Be Active’ clinic

The local organising committee of the Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™ yesterday organised a special ‘Be Active’ clinic in collaboration with Special Olympics Seychelles.

This inclusive event with special needs athletes took place yesterday, Wednesday May 7, 2025 – a designated rest day during the tournament – at the Paradise Arena in Roche Caïman.

Youth, Sports and Family Minister Marie-Céline Zialor; Jaime Yarza, Fifa tournaments director; Dr Rex Gadama Mpazanje, World Health Organisation (WHO) representative for Seychelles; and Charles Nyambe, president and managing director of Special Olympics Africa Region, were all present.
