A final flurry from Senegal raise them to the top of Group D temporarily with a 6-3 victory over Tahiti.

Ousseynou Faye’s thunderous strike proved decisive as Senegal mounted a late surge to defeat Tahiti in a dramatic FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup™ encounter.

The match opened in spectacular fashion, with Mamadou Sylla unleashing a powerful left-footed drive, quickly followed by a sharp finish from Tahiti’s Heimanu Taiarui. The momentum then swung in Tahiti’s favor as Gervais Chan-Kat dazzled with a bicycle kick, and Matatia Paama capped off a swift counterattack to put the Pacific islanders in control.
