Defending champions Brazil start campaign with victory over El Salvador
- Victories for Senegal, Chile and Italy
In a day featuring some of the tournament’s favourites, defending champions Brazil announced their presence with a 3-1 victory over El Salvador, while last World Cup’s finalists Italy, Chile and Senegal registered victories in their first matches at the ongoing Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) Beach Soccer World 2025 at the Roche Caïman Paradise Arena.
Day two of the competition started with a match between the finalists of the last World Cup Italy against a formidable Oman side.
The energy of each team was displayed immediately from the first period which brought with it a series of quick-fire goals.
