Seychelles government hands Paradise Arena over to Fifa

The highly anticipated Paradise Arena, the state-of-the-art stadium set to host the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) Beach Soccer World 2025, is officially completed and ready for the world event which will kick off tomorrow.
In a ceremony yesterday afternoon, President Wavel Ramkalawan, and Sports Minister Marie-Celine Zialor, along with Fifa’s head of Olympics, Futsal and Beach Soccer Kasra Asrar Haghighi unveiled the plaque to officially declare the facility open and also to hand it over to Fifa.
Vice President Ahmed Afif, Minister for Lands and Housing Billy Rangasamy, chief executive of the local organising committee for the Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup, along with other guests, including commissioner of police Ted Barbe, and chief of the defence forces Major General Michael Rosette were also present to witness the milestone event.
