The Comoros remain committed to host the 12th Games

Despite things are moving at a slow pace, all indications so far show the willingness and commitment of the Comorian government to successfully host the 12th Indian Ocean Islands Games in 2027. This will be the first time the Comoros host the Games since their inception in 1979 in Reunion.
President of the Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (Socga) Alain Alcindor made the statement during a press conference yesterday, following his visit to the Comoros, as part of the Games International Committee (CIJ).
