15-year-old Farib Gabriel aces French try-out with Tours Metropole Academy

Only 15 years old and standing at 2.08 metres, Farib Gabriel, who is presently in France where he is on a try-out with the Tours Metropole Academy, aced all the challenges with flying colours, guaranteeing a future as professional basketball player.
The international journey of the young local gentle giant started following his participation at the recently-held 3x3 basketball tournament hosted by the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) – under the Affiliate American Youth Leadership Space – alongside other partners, including the Ministry of Education, the National Sports Council (NSC) and the Seychelles Basketball Federation (SBF), under the Fédération internationale de basket-ball (Fiba) Foundation’s ‘Basketball for Good’ platform.
