Over the Easter weekend, locals and visitors alike joined in the celebration of ‘Energise the Nation’ which was a two-day festival designed to ignite the festive spirit and build momentum in the lead-up to the big event.

The festivities began on Saturday April 19 at the ever-popular Beau Vallon beach, where the sound of waves mingled with the cheers from friendly mini beach soccer tournaments.

The atmosphere was electric with food and drink stalls offering local delights, families soaking up the sun, and live music setting the tone.

One of the weekend’s standout moments came with the live performance of the official tournament anthem ‘Boom Se se’, brought to life by local stars Elijah and Taniah through highly-energy performance that had the crowd dancing and singing along. And of course, the adored mascot Ti Kay made several memorable appearances, delighting children and adults alike with his playful spirit.

On Sunday, the celebration continued on the southern coast at Anse Royale.
