Foresters defeat LightStars to retain title

Though the dominant side, LightStars squandered their opportunities as Foresters sealed their second consecutive Seychelles Football Federation Cup.

Both the Cup journeys of LightStars and defending cup Champions Foresters culminated Saturday afternoon in the clash between third and fourth finishers in the Absa Premier League, and for both sides, the final hope of silverware this season.

Foresters were the last club with their hands on the trophy when they won it last year in a final against La Passe.
