Presidential visit of the Roche Caïman sports complex
‘More responsibility and commitment from local sports governing bodies’
It is the duty of all local sporting federations and associations to ensure that they remain responsible and committed in their duties to create better and conducive atmosphere for, not only the current crop of athletes, but to ensure future development through continuity, which will benefit Seychelles as a country and nation.
It was president Wavel Ramkalawan who made the appeal yesterday, following his visit of the Roche Caïman sports complex, where he saw first-hand the various maintenance programmes being carried out, but most of all to see the progress on the Paradise Arena, the state-of-the-art stadium set to host the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) Beach Soccer World Cup 2025.
