It is now out of Bel Ombre’s reach

The League One title is now out of Bel Ombre’s reach following their 1-3 loss to Anse Royale on Tuesday at Stad Popiler.

In the first round fixture, Bel Ombre earned a 4-1 victory against Baie Lazare and they used thee victory as a motivation for an undefeated first round. Bel Ombre at the time were giants who touched the stars. But as the saying goes, ‘the bigger you are the harder you fall’, and for Bel Ombre that saying rang piercingly true. So much so that when they approached the match against Baie Lazare they were no longer unbeaten and in fact had suffered their biggest defeat recently to Rangers.
