ACCS CEO presents annual report to President Ramkalawan
Anti-Corruption Commission Seychelles chief executive May De Silva, yesterday formally handed over the commission’s annual report to President Wavel Ramkalawan during a ceremony at State House.
The report, which was initially submitted to Vice President Ahmed Afif on March 31, 2025 outlines the progress and challenges faced by the Anti-Corruption Commission Seychelles (ACCS) during the year 2024.
Speaking to local media after the ceremony Ms De Silva said the document highlights the work carried out by the ACCS in combating corruption across various government sectors including the successes and challenges. Among the successes were the conviction of a former chief executive and a case involving a shopkeeper attempting to bribe an officer.
