The Finance and Public Accounts Committee toured the facilities of the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority yesterday morning, beginning with its headquarters at Ile Du Port, followed by its command centre at Ile Persévérance.

It comes as part of a commitment made during a 2024 meeting between the Finance and Public Accounts Committee (FPAC) and the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA), as part of FPAC’s scrutiny of government entities. The former wanted to inspect the command centre and view surveillance equipment installed to enhance monitoring of the national parks.
