Today is World Autism Awareness Day, a global observance designated by the United Nations General Assembly in 2007 to promote the rights and inclusion of autistic individuals.

This year’s theme, ‘Advancing Neurodiversity and the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs)’, shines a spotlight on the critical intersection between neurodiversity and global sustainability efforts, emphasising how inclusive policies can create a more equitable world for autistic people while advancing the SDGs.
