Showcases achievements through exhibition
The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs unveiled its 2024 Annual Report in a ceremony held at the Seychelles National Library yesterday afternoon.
The event also included the launch of the ministry’s new theme song, ‘Ansanm pour nou kominote’ and showcased its achievements from 2021 to date, through an exhibition.
Present at the ceremony were First Lady Linda Ramkalawan, Vice-President Ahmed Afif, Speaker of the National Assembly Honourable Roger Mancienne, ministers, principal secretaries, members of the National Assembly and district administrators, among other guests.
The ministry’s official song was written by its principal secretary, Kevin Perine, with musical arrangement by Dareal Thing production. It was performed by one of their employees, Joey Pouponneau. The song encompasses the values of the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs (MLGCA), which is empowerment, engagement and community spirit.
