XXIII Commonwealth Games – Glasgow 2026: King’s Baton Relay

Local relay set for October 19 to 24

It was on Monday March 10 that King Charles officially launched the King's Baton Relay at Buckingham Palace, marking the start of the run-up to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, where athletes from 74 nations and territories will be competing across 10 different sports.

The Games will take place from July 23 to August 2, 2026, and Monday's launch mark 500 days until the start.
