Muccia file suit in regards to illegal player

After they learned of an irregularity on the team sheet, in regards to Don Fanchette of Anse Reunion, Muccia filed a complaint to the Seychelles Football Federation, in which they requested for the disqualification of their opponents.

The complaint relates to a Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) Cup match played on January 18, at the La Digue sports complex, where Anse Reunion scored in time added on to secure a 2-1 victory over Muccia to progress to the next phase in the SFF Cup.

Muccia subsequently bowed out of the competition and accepted their defeat.

That was until they learned that Fanchette had received five yellow cards over the course of the season, and as such, should have been banned from playing.

As recourse for this legal infraction that occurred, Muccia filed a complaint that is yet to be decided upon.
