Sports federations react to news of Roche Caïman sports complex closure |11 March 2025
Following the decision to restrict access to the Roche Caïman sports complex, Sports NATION reached out to representatives of sports federations and associations as well as stakeholders dependent on facilities for their comments on the new developments.
Seychelles Tennis Association chairperson Fatime Kanté said they only became aware of these developments through sports news announcements.
“We found out about the closure through the news and have since reached out for clarification as this is a situation which hinders competitions we have already planned for March along with training courses. As such we want to know how to proceed so that we can inform the tennis community. We hope that the NSC can help us find other venues where we can continue our tennis programmes. The Seychelles Tennis Association has a very good rapport with the NSC and we hope that they can assist us accordingly,” said Ms Kanté.
