Revengers beat PLMS to leapfrog Marine Victoria City into second place

After an early goal from Fabien De Charmoy-Lablache, Revengers kept their pace and displayed a clinical ability in front of goal when they gifted their fans with a 4-2 win over PLMS on Saturday afternoon at Stad Amitié, placing them second on the table, overtaking Marine Victoria City who lost 1-2 to Tigers on the same day at Stad Linite.

Marine Victoria City had recently placed a dent in Revengers’ recent form when they served the Praslin side a loss and kicked them out of second place.

As such, Revengers had lost their play-off opportunity after they had fought so hard to earn it.

As much as possible, Revengers needed no more mistakes, while PLMS were equally, if not more desperate for points.
