The Tourism department yesterday launched a validation workshop on the country’s cruise tourism at the Savoy Seychelles Resort and Spa to discuss the cost-benefit analysis of the cruise tourism sector in Seychelles
The two-day workshop is a collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (Uneca).
Present were principal secretary for Tourism Sherin Francis, deputy chief executive of the National Statistics Bureau, Kevin Bistoquet, and delegates from Uneca.
The session also brought together government officials from the Tourism, Finance, Transport and Environment departments, along with representatives from regional and national tourism bodies.
