Workshop to review and update the senior district guideline |19 February 2025

Mrs Gill addressing the gathering
The senior district guideline launched back in 2001 by the Ministry for Local Government and Community Affairs is in the process of being reviewed and updated, following a workshop hosted by the Seniors Citizens of Seychelles yesterday at the Anse Etoile community centre.
The district guideline is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for their district clubs, developed by the senior citizens and it is in accordance with the active ageing principle.
The goal of the workshop – the first of its kind – was to make the guideline suitable for new members at all levels in their particular areas and to meet peers for an educational endeavour in order to become familiar with the materials in the guide.
