On Saturday, the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino once again witnessed the crowning of the country’s top male and female athletes who excelled during the 2024 sporting season in both senior and youth categories.
Bodybuilder Wallace Dorasamy is the new sportsman of the year – repeating the feat achieved by his father, former footballer Bernard Dorasamy in 1988, while Aaliyah Palestrini replaced fellow swimmer Felicity Passon as the country’s best female athlete.
