Alarming rise in Seychelles’ suicide rates last year   |06 February 2025

Suicide rate in Seychelles rose by 80 percent in 2024 compared to the previous year, according to police statistics.

In 2023, five individuals chose to end their lives through hanging namely four men and a woman, underscoring a painful truth that suicide impacts individuals of both genders.
