Teachers on Mahé attend ethics education workshop |28 January 2025

The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Unesco Regional Office for Eastern Africa, is hosting a three-day Ethics Education Training workshop for teachers on Mahé.

The opening was held yesterday morning at the Centre Polyvalente des Jeunes, Mont Fleuri in the presence of Education Minister, Dr Justin Valentin, principal secretary for Educational Services, Merna Eulentin, and other education officials.

The training marks the second phase of Seychelles’ ongoing ethics education initiative and focuses on strengthening value-based teaching in schools. It brings together Personal Social and Citizenship Education (PSCE) and Religion teachers across ten different schools on Mahé.
