Clock tower barrier damaged in road accident |14 January 2025

A car yesterday rammed into the barrier of the Victoria Clock Tower causing severe damage to the metal structure, which protects the iconic monument.

According to a police communique, the incident happened at around 8.50am. The rented car travelling along the Independence Avenue towards the clock tower was being driven by a 24-year-old man from St Louis.
