The year 2024 has proven to be a successful one for the Ministry. We have been able to boost our workforce, and fulfil our mandate of ensuring fiscal and economic stability in the country. Both Fitch Rating and the IMF Mission to Seychelles have attested to our commitment of fiscal discipline and economic resilience. We have continued to uphold the confidence of our development partners, through our constant engagements and they have supported the country, either financially or providing technical assistance.

While, we ensure the upholding of our responsibility, role and mandate, we also invest in our biggest asset, which is our staff.

Our staff have continued to demonstrate professionalism, thus why in 2024, we witnessed the promotion of a long service colleague as the Principal Secretary for Finance. We have also seen the appointment of another of our long service staff to the position of Ambassador. The year was successful in terms of recruitment and staff training.
