Student island retreat on La Digue |14 December 2024

The Ministry of Education launched a new initiative on La Digue last Thursday, coined as the Student Island Retreat.

The aim of this activity is to bring students from Mahé over to La Digue to engage together in sports and cultural activities. This pilot initiative saw the participation of Primary 5 and 6 pupils from the Baie Lazare school, who were selected on a convenient basis. Cascade school, which was also selected for the event, could not make it due to short notice invitation.
