Global plastic treaty negotiations extended |13 December 2024

No formal agreement on treaties regarding plastics was reached during the 5th Session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee held in Busan, South Korea, from November 25 to December 1.

Seychelles was represented by two representatives from the Environment department namely Nanette Laure, director general of the Waste Enforcement and Permit Division, and Fredrick Kinloch, director of Waste Management and Standards.
