The historic Pirates Arms building, once a vibrant hub in the heart of Victoria, served countless locals and visitors before its demolition in February 2016. Now, eight years and nine months later, the foundation stone for the new Pirates Arms Complex was laid yesterday by President Wavel Ramkalawan, Seychelles Pension Fund board chairperson Shella Mohideen, and its chief executive Nisreen Abdul Majid.
