Meet Prisila François from Praslin

• ‘The best teachers are lifelong learners themselves’

I stood outside the classroom waiting for my daughter Kylie. It was almost time to go home and to my surprise the little girls and boys of the year two class at Anse Kerlan crèche were attentively listening to their teacher as she was telling them a story.

I have only known her for five months, but Mrs Prisila François, known to her pupils as Miss Prisila, has left a remarkable impression on me as a parent.
