Hate speech bill suppresses freedom of speech, says Arid   |20 September 2024

The Association for Rights, Information and Democracy said it is categorically against the proposed Bill on ‘hate speech’, which was passed in the National Assembly (Penal Code Amendments 2024) on Wednesday, as it is a direct infringement on freedom of expression.
