48 years on …

 

Seychelles will tomorrow – June 29 – celebrate 48 years since gaining its independence from Great Britain.

The country’s Independence Day officially also became the National Day in June 2015 ‒ a decision which was taken by former President James Michel who served as the country’s third Head of State from 2004 to 2016.
