Suspect apprehended

A 41-year-old man from Cap Samy, Praslin, was arrested on Curieuse island yesterday afternoon in possession of 19 baby Aldabra giant tortoises. The tortoises were reported stolen from a nursery based in Baie Laraie, managed by the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA).
