Third position for Adam Moncherry in 50m freestyle heat

A third position was the result of Adam Moncherry in the 50m freestyle heat at the ongoing World Aquatics Championships 2024 in Doha, Qatar.

Swimming in heat number five of 12, Moncherry clocked 24.27 seconds to finish third behind Yousuf  Almatrooshy of the United Arab Emirates who was first in 23.44 seconds, and Steven Aimable of Senegal who finished second in 23.77 seconds.

Other than yesterday’s event, Moncherry also competed in the 50m butterfly, where he finished fifth in heat number three of seven after clocking 25.40 seconds.

Seychelles’ last appearance at the championships will be today through Aaliyah Palestrini who will compete in the 50m freestyle.

She had previously competed in the 50m backstroke where she finished first in heat number one of six, in 32.07 seconds.
