Sports Awards of the Year 2023 |12 February 2024
Senior and young female finalists
It is on Friday March 1 at the NSC Hall, Roche Caïman, that the best male and female athletes will be crowned, during the traditional Sports Awards of the Year ceremony, gathering 30 male and female finalists, in both senior and young athletes’ categories.
Due to health restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic which put a halt to local sports, the last time the Sports Awards of the Year crowning ceremony was held was in 2020 to reward the best athletes for the sporting year 2019.
For the 2023 awards, sports federations and associations had the opportunity to nominate five athletes in order of preference – one to five – in the senior male and female categories. In the young male and female categories, sports federations and associations were allowed to nominate three athletes – one to three.
Ten finalists have been nominated in the senior male and female categories, while in the young athletes’ categories, there are five finalists in both the male and female classes.
Today Sports NATION brings you the senior and young female athletes’ finalists.
