Newly accredited French ambassador meets National Assembly Speaker |24 October 2019
The newly accredited ambassador of France to the Republic of Seychelles, Dominique Mas, met the Speaker of the National Assembly yesterday afternoon.
The Speaker welcomed Ambassador Mas and congratulated him on his accreditation.
During the meeting both Ambassador Mas and Speaker Prea expressed the desire to strengthen parliamentary relations between France and Seychelles.
This will benefit both sides in terms of sharing best practices and reinforcing the engagement of Seychelles in the Association Parlementaire de La Francophonie (l’APF).
Speaker Prea was accompanied by the chairperson of the International Affairs Committee, Jean-François Ferrari; deputy Speaker Ahmed Afif and the deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, Tania Isaac.
