JU-JITSU

Training has resumed at the Jujitsu Club at Roche Caïman on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm to 7pm. Children aged seven upwards and adults who would like to learn self-defence techniques can contact Shihan Philip Philoé on telephone number 2802766.

DARTS

Annual general meeting

The Seychelles Darts Association will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on Tuesday February 13, starting at 5pm at the Bel Air community centre.

Members’ and newcomers’ registration should be done by 4.45pm for the election of the executive committee. Membership fee is R100, permitting one to vote.

KARTING

Drivers’ workshop

All drivers competing in the 2024 karting championship must attend the compulsory refresher/workshop on February 3, in order to renew their competition licenses.

The sessions which will be held at the swimming pool hall will be as follows:

Cadets and rookies (ex 2023 Academy) – 10am to 12noon.

Juniors 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

All minors must have a parent or guardian present.

All senior drivers (Masters/Inter A & C/Ladies) – 2.30pm to 5pm.

Meanwhile, members who have not yet fully completed renewal formalities will have until Friday at noon of this week to finalise their participation before the classes are closed.
