ISS welcomes pupils back after festive season break

After a joyous festive season break, the International School Seychelles (ISS) is thrilled to welcome back pupils and staff as they kick off the new year with enthusiasm and renewed energy.

The school officially resumed its academic activities on January 9, 2024, following a well-deserved holiday break. The festive season provided the school community with an opportunity to rest, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with loved ones. As they return to the school and classrooms, staff and pupils are excited about the learning and growth that the upcoming term holds.

Teachers are geared up to provide pupils with challenging and enriching academic experiences, fostering a love for learning and personal growth. As they dive into the new term, ISS has planned various engaging activities, events, and educational programmes to enrich the learning experience for all pupils; to name but a few: The Inter School Swimming Gala, the Secondary Production of Peter Pan, the Early Years Hat Parade and trips linked to the Primary topic of Marine Life.

Elodie Vallantine, Principal of ISS, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming term: “We are delighted to have our pupils back in school, ready to embark on a journey of discovery and achievement. The festive season break allowed everyone to recharge, and we are eager to make the most of the opportunities the new term presents.”
