ISS primary Christmas shows light up ICCS with festive cheer

The International School of Seychelles (ISS) hosted a spectacular Christmas show on December 12, captivating audiences from Reception 1 and 2, as well as Year 1 and 2 in the morning session, featuring the heartwarming production, ‘A Miracle in Town’.

The festivities continued with Year 3 and 4 students presenting the enchanting ‘Silent Night’ at noon.

The event, held from 9am to 10am for the younger classes and extending into the afternoon for Year 3 and 4, showcased the incredible talent and creativity of the ISS students. The performances left the audience in awe as the children delivered stellar renditions of their respective Christmas plays.

The school's stage transformed into a magical spectacle resembling the iconic Clock Tower in Victoria, adorning the atmosphere with a sense of community and togetherness. The festive decorations created a picturesque setting that added to the joyous holiday spirit.

Proud parents filled the ICCS, creating a buzzing atmosphere as they witnessed their children shine on stage. The overwhelming support from parents, who generously purchased tickets, contributed to the success of the Christmas shows.

“Their hard work and dedication were evident in every moment, making it a truly memorable and enjoyable event for everyone. A special thank you to staff who worked tirelessly to prepare the students, and in particular Daphne Jasmin (deputy Head of Primary) and Caroline King (Head of Primary) for our primary shows, and Doris Nourrice (Head of Art and Performing Arts, Y10 Leader) and Beverly Durand (Teacher of Art, Y9 Leader) for our secondary show.”
