Cable and Wireless Seychelles (CWS), a leading telecommunications provider, is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated comeback of the renowned music awards, Cable Tunes, with an exciting twist – a Special Edition that promises to be bigger, better, and more memorable than ever before.
This Special Edition of Cable Tunes Awards comes after a brief hiatus, following the Covid-19 pandemic, and is set to leave music enthusiasts, artists, and fans alike in awe with a unique celebration of music, talent, and innovation. The awards have been a long-standing tradition in recognising and honouring the brightest stars of the music industry.
The launch for the Awards took place on Friday, November 3, at the L’Escale Resort Marina in a kick-off event. During which, the various categories and nominations were presented to see who will become the illustrious winners of the 2022-2023 awards.
The director of marketing, Jean Hassan, had the privilege of officially unveiling this edition’s video advertisement which is a culmination of the buildup of anticipation leading to the awards. The evening offered a glimpse into what is yet to come as the evening was filled with unforgettable performances.
Mrs Hassan expressed that “Here we are, 14 years later, and this year’s edition will be timeless as it is an homage to our 130th anniversary. Despite the challenges, we have seen how the entertainment community has continued to thrive, pushing boundaries and surpassing expectations. Once again, we will gather to celebrate the talent and innovation that elevate the entertainment industry to new heights.”
First introduced under the umbrella of #Siportartislokal, in 2009, Cable Tunes is a platform that offers artists and producers an opportunity to raise the bar in terms of vision and creativity so that not only CWS customers can enjoy, but also the whole community of Seychelles.
Voting has officially opened and the public may vote by sending a corresponding artist’s code to 9688.
