Three local companies have come out to strongly support new initiatives to fight against Aids disease in Seychelles. They are the Allied Agencies, Hari Builders and Evans Builders.
Together, they are sponsoring the release of two new songs about Aids on December 1, 2023, to mark the World Aids Day.
The songs by popular local artist Sonny Dogley are entitled ‘Ansanm Dan Lalit Kont Sida’ and ‘Let’s Talk About Aids’.
As a sign of appreciation for the initiative, Jamshed Pardiwalla, owner of Allied Agencies, recently presented Mr Dogley with a cheque as a contribution from his company towards the cause.
Hari Builders and Evans Builders have also responded positively.
The singer has expressed his gratitude towards them.
As an Aids activist, Mr Dogley also plans to spearhead other activities on World Aids Day, including the tying of red ribbons on trees along the road leading up to Espace Building.
“It is his hope that those ribbons will remind people that the Aids disease is real. It also kills,” he stated.
Dogley is also inviting everyone to come on board and play a role in making this year’s Aids awareness campaign a success.
