• Spirit World Productions celebrates 16 years of Israeli charters to Seychelles

This week, Seychelles’ travel and tourism industry has been abuzz with excitement as it celebrates the annual Tourism Festival, which took place from September 23 to 30, 2023. The week-long Tourism Festival in Seychelles coincides each year with World Tourism Day on September 27.

The theme of this year’s Tourism Week festivities was ‘Bridging the Past and the Future’ – a theme which was particularly poignant for Spirit World Productions, who this week celebrated the 16 year anniversary of its inaugural charted flight to Seychelles on September 26, 2007.

Working closely with Seychelles’ longest-operating DMC, Mason’s Travel, Spirit World’s charter flights have pioneered Seychelles as a sought-after holiday destination for Israel’s discerning travellers. Since the maiden chartered flight touched down in Seychelles in 2007, these bi-annual charter flights have welcomed well-over 10,000 visitors to the destination and paved the way for Seychelles’ growing popularity among Israeli holiday-makers.

This influx of Israeli tourists to the destination has injected a substantial economic boost into the country with travellers typically indulging in lavish stays at five-star hotels and personalised itineraries that encompass captivating excursions to Praslin and La Digue.
