“Education is an important aspect of economic growth. With the advancement in technology, the education system should be extended to encompass the financial aspect, teaching students how to invest their money, make savings and plan their spending.

“Secondly, Seychelles should re-introduce a boarding school system similar to the former National Youth Service (NYS), to equip students with valuable life skills and turn them into independent and reliable individuals.

“Lastly, teaching methods should be revised and improved to make learning more interesting for students. These could include the introduction of classroom challenges such as games and drama, as well as school trips. Parents should also be involved with the creation of council/committees to discuss ideas and address concerns.
