‘Doub Konsyans’ back on top

After losing its number one spot on the Paradise FM chart for two consecutive weeks, ‘Doub Konsyans’ by Ruben and Daniel was back on top last week, dethroning ‘Premye Rendevous’ by Humbleman’s featuring Lester, which has now slipped to number three after having spent two weeks at the top.

This means that ‘Doub Konsyans’ has now occupied the number one spot thrice ever since coming onto the chart early last August. Week before last it was at number two.

There was also an improvement for ‘Manman’ by Ryan Louise which was at number two from the previous fourth spot after having spent only two weeks on the Paradise FM chart.

‘Lagratel’ by Philippe Toussaint may have lost ground the previous week to feature at number seven but it proved that it was down but not totally out yet after it climbed to number four last week. The song has now been on the chart for 29 weeks; 16 times at number one.

‘Je T’aime’ by  SS Gang Featuring  Daniel climbed one spot to number five while new entry ‘Li menm’ by  Auspitious came straight into number six.

Nouvo Kreasyon’ by Debra Jeannevol experienced a lull, stuck at number five for two consecutive weeks, and lost ground last week to number seven.

Richie B’s ‘Laport I Ouver’ which made an impressive entry to number three the previous week had a sharp fall to number eight last week.

Auspitious had a second song on the chart with a new entry, ‘Reggae Music Man’, starting at number nine last week.

Another new entry from Richie B, titled ‘Maladi’ also made the cuts at number ten.

Three songs left the chart, namely ‘Dir Mwan Fran’ by Kolonel after a one week stay, ‘Zwer Ser’ by Gracy after five weeks and ‘Mon Promes’ by Romel after a four-week stay, having reached number seven as its highest ranking.
