Rehearsals in full swing for children’s talent show after a three-year lull
Preparations are well under way for the children’s talent show ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ set for August 19 and 20.
The show’s producer, Bennet Accouche, made the comments after a rehearsal by the little upcoming stars at the School of Music at Mont Fleuri on Saturday.
Speaking to Seychelles NATION, Mr Accouche said the rehearsals were going very well and the kids' spirits were exceptionally high.
“I must say, there are some very talented kids out there!” said the impressed producer.
The theme for this year's show will, as usual, remain a surprise but the talents will be nothing short of amazing.
“The little stars are ready to deliver and members of the public will not be disappointed,” said Mr Accouche.
The participants are aged between 9 and 11 years old.
Other than the little singers, the show will also see the launch of a brand new children's choir under the direction of Mr Bennet himself.
A total of 18 little stars out of over 150 applicants are taking part in the show which is back after a three-year lull.
According to Mr Accouche, a lot of surprises are in store and he is encouraging the public to come and support the kids as they showcase their talents.
He has also thanked the parents, members of the public for their support, especially the few sponsors.
