Blue Nation 2.0 a resounding success

Labelled as ‘Blue Nation 2.0’ following last year’s resounding success of the event, on Saturday consumers and supporters of Seychelles Breweries Ltd (SBL) were once again wowed with an unforgettable evening of live entertainment at Cap Lazare, one of the most breathtaking locations in Seychelles.

The exclusive event, which was very well attended, saw performances from top local artists who have made their names locally and internationally. The line up included Patrick Victor, Joseph Sinon, Clive Camille, Elijah, Auspicious, Jakim, Mercenary, Taniah and Champion to mention a few.

They were accompanied by the Chromatix Band for the live performance which lasted for over 3 hours.

As guest international artists, SBL brought in the Illizium group based in Dubai specialising in water drums performances which blended well with theme for the evening which was all about drums. The local moutya drum is featured in the logo of flagship brand, the Seybrew.

To cap the evening, a selection of local DJs including Slam, Big One, Telemaquinos and DJ Georgio Bello were added into the mix to make the event unforgettable and much talked about.

Commenting on the event, Bertrand Belle, commercial director at SBL, said that the company had leveraged on “the unique beauty of Cap Lazare; abundance of talent of our staff and the fun-loving nature of our population to create an amazing night which also served as an opportunity to thank our supporters/consumers and bring out the island in all of us”.

Mr Belle said: “The event was an opportunity for us to bring to life our purpose of celebrating life, everyday, everywhere. It was also an occasion for us to celebrate ourselves as Seychellois. Due to the limitation of the location, we were able to touch only a tiny fraction of our consumers and supporters. We would like to thank the Seychellois people for their continued loyalty, and we look forward to hosting a bigger event in future which can include even more of our consumers and supporters.”

To the island in all of us!
