Video adverts to boost IOIG publicity campaign
With just over 40 days left before the start of the 11th Indian Ocean Islands Games 2023 scheduled to take place in Madagascar from August 23 to September 3, the Games’ local secretariat recently launched a video publicity campaign on television, and billboards around town, educating the people on the event, while bringing early atmosphere of the Games which are well followed in the country.
The campaign, including countdown, kicked off last week to coincide with 50 days left before the Games.
Aside from the two television stations, a further countdown featuring some of the country’s top prospects for gold medals in Madagascar is being run on the big screens and billboards across Victoria.
Featured athletes include weightlifter Clementina Agricole, long and high jumper Natasha Chetty, swimmer Felicity Passon, athlete Ned Azemia, weightlifter Romantha Larue, former weightlifter Steven Baccus and former sailor Alan Julie.
